What a perfect time to practice mindfulness

We've been getting up early to follow @erinmoraghan of litethriive lead her daily mindfulness practice. Erin pulls a card from the Animal Magic Oracle Cards deck to share with the group then leads a guided gratitude meditation followed by some gentle stretching.

With self-isolation being the new norm what better time is there to slow down, take a few deep breaths and clear the mind of the non-stop news cycle crowding our minds 24/7. 5 - 10 minutes per day is all you need to de-stress. There are so many great apps out there to help with your practice  such as Calm, Insight Timer, and many more. And while meditating sounds simple it can be quite tricky to sit still for a few minutes and quiet the mind. A guided meditation is often just the thing to help get us started in this beautiful practice. The benefits of meditation have been proven to decrease stress and improve overall health.

Do it for yourself, you deserve it.
